Metroid's Console Based Speedruns

Below you will find links to pretty much all of the current runs available for the Metroid games which have been played on the original game on an actual console. Each run is the current World Record for that category in that game, but there are also a bunch of unfufilled categories that you may be able to fill.

For me, these console-based speedruns are immensely enjoyable to watch, especially when you see tricks that you KNOW are very hard to do, yet you see them here in such a way that makes them look like a walk in the park (which is even MORE awe-inspiring when done in a Single-Segment speedrun).

Please note that the console speedruns set THE benchmark as far as recognised World Record's are concerned. This is not to discredit the achievements of the Tool Assisted players in any way, but many people have unfortunately been duped in the past when it comes to the two different types of runs.

So sit back, relax, and once the run you've chosen is downloaded, enjoy and appreciate. For it's almost impossible not to...
