Metroid Prime 2 Speed Runs

Demo Speed Run - 5mins 19secs by Andrew Mills
I felt that the playable demo disk of MP2 shouldn't be neglected even though the full retail version is out so I decided to improve upon Nate's old record (which I can't find anywhere on his site anymore). Not much to say other than I reckon this is almost as fast as you're going to get, bar maybe 10-15 seconds worth of mistakes in total. Click on the link below to begin downloading the run!

Any% Run - 1hr 43Mins by silent (((((echo)))))
Ever wondered just HOW much players have managed to circumvent Retro's sustained efforts at preventing us from breaking their Prime series open? Then watch this run with awe. Almost 30mins faster than the pervious Any% WR, this run even includes the never before recorded Grand Abyss Grapple Skip trick (of which only a VERY small handful of players have EVER managed)! The link below will take you to the Low Quality version of the run (but even at "Low Quality", it's still very much watchable). An excellent run, now all we need is one with the SW-assisted tricks for an even lower time!...

100% Run - 2hrs 25Mins by Sparky
An absolute BELTER of a speed run, this 100% collect-a-thon proves that while MP2 might not be as diligint when it comes to massive Sequence Breaks like in MP1, the ability to discover and abuse a lot of speed tricks is still very prevailint. The run is very very entertaining and is incredibly educational too. Even a trick I discovered gets used in the run. :) Enjoy.

22% Hard Speed Run - 3hrs 37Mins by Kip
The games current lowest possible percentage without the use of Secret Worlds. Performed on Hard Mode, Kip's run is a run,that while a little out of date (tricks wise), it's still displays the player's trademarks that has made him one of the finest 3D Metroid players around. A worthy watch, even at over 3hrs long...

20% "Secret World Assisted" Speed Run - 2hrs 44Mins by DJGrenola
DJGrenola holds up the flag for Metroid Prime's dedicated "Secret World" followers (while simultaneously exploiting mental loopholes) by providing us with a quality low% run. DJ exploits the potential of Prime's SW's by skipping the previously essential Echo Visor and the Cobalt Translator. An excellent run to watch, and it's VERRRY eductaional too if you're interested in messing around in SW's in future. A great run that's most certainly worth the download...
