Ice Beam Early - Furnace Without Spiderball

(Discovered By: Michael Pölzl - Ghetto Method)
(Discovered By: Rage - Trackjump Glitch)

This method eleminates the need to do a Triple Bomb Jump (TBJ) up the furnace. The trick is also pretty simple to perform.

As soon as you enter the room with the track, L-Lock your view down and strafe into the top-left corner of the room. Now, Space Jump backwards while holding left and if done correctly, you'll notice Samus push up a bit higher than normal. Now's the time to Space Jump forwards again towards the top of the track. Once on top, simply morph and roll on in! To see this in action, click on the zipped movie link below...

SJ up Furnace Without Spiderball (Boost method) (924k Zipped)

.:NTSC (US) Only Method:.
To make it up the Spidertack on the NTSC (US) version of MP, simply do the following: Walk up to the spiderball track and push yourself up against it. Now, turn left about 45 degrees so your facing half of the track and half of the wall.

Now, simply PUSH into the black ledge in front of you until the screen starts shaking. Keep up held and within a few seconds, VOILA! You've magically floated up to the top of the track.

Now simply morph into a ball, and coax your way into the hole (see screenshots 1,2,3 and 4).

Next stop, Hall of the Elders...
