Skip Morphball Battle

Discovered By:????
Normally, you need to fight this boss to obtain the first set of missiles (the missile launcher) in the game, allowing you to go for the morphball. However, thanks to the discovery of SJ first, we are now able to get the missile expansion set that sits at the side of the half-pipe in the main plaza of Chozo Ruins, which is handily right beside the door leading to the morphball. Saving a good bit of time. Once you have the Space Jump from the very start, this is a piece of cake.

Make your way to the main plaza in Chozo ruins and go to the half-pipe. Now take a look at where the missile expansion is sitting (screenshot 1), and walk up to it. Now, you must jump AT the wall by pressing up, and then just as you press B again to do your second jump, press back and then forward again (like a V-shape). This is known as the "Ghetto Jump", which allows you to gain extra height from pushing against the wall. You will now land on the expansion or right beside it! (Screenshot 2)

Face the Missiles to get your jump lined up.  Missiles the easier way.
