Exit Lifegrove Quickly

Discovered By:????

Normally, to exit Lifegrove after obtaining the Artifact of Chozo, you need to activate the Chozo Ghosts battle to exit by the morphball tunnel. However, by using an L-Lock Space Jump from the rock that sticks up from beside the X-Ray visor, we can get back to the morphball tunnel without ever triggering the annoying Chozo Ghost battle.

This is especially useful in speed runs, but also used in low % runs as well. It's not extremely easy to do, but by twisting the L-Lock SJ, it'll make it slightly easier to get.

.:How To:.
As soon as you have the artifact and the X-Ray visor, on the way back, look to the right of where you collected the X-Ray Visor. You'll notice a rock sticking up. You need to Space Jump onto the top of this. It's quite a slippery rock, so you might need to try it a few times. L-Lock your view down to keep an eye on where you're landing.

Once you're on top, face the middle of the exit/entrance where the tunnel is. L-Lock your view down about half-way from horizontal (45 Degrees). Now push forward, and just after you start moving forward, jump. But before you reach the peak of your first jump, jump again and turn left or right slightly. It might take a few tries, but it's more than possible to do. (see screenshots 1,2 & 3).
