Metroid Icebeam Early
Guide Credit - Ego Trip
The Icebeam can be collected before you even aquire the bombs. It's very handy to have at such an early point of the game.
But be warned. It's not easy and you WILL have to have mastered the Door Warp glitch beforehand.
.:How To:.
First off, make your way to Brinstar and you'll find two small corridors that are exactly alike in a quicksand area. Go to the right-most one.
Use the door on the left to door warp. Don't even bother using the A button at the top (see screenshots below).
As soon as you have pushed the screen "up" (so it moves down), you'll eventually end up under the bridge. As soon as the first ledge is visible on
the screen, you should move right to exit the wall. Drop to the bottom and head left through the door you find there.
Make your way to the far left and open the door with 5 missiles. Inside you'll find the Icebeam.
