Entering Kraid Shortcut

Once you've entered Kraid's lair, to save yourself the hassle of falling all the way to the bottom and freezing the Rippers on the way up again, you can enter the Red door to the right of the central pillar by morphing and falling near it and then unmorphing and jumping (morph jumping) towards the door. This is the quickest and easiest method to achieve this.
