Metroid Prime PAL Demo Screens and Info

Nintendo of Europe released an official demo disc to retailers for the GameCube pods. One of these demos included a playable demo of Prime. Not something you'd find particularly special as demo discs are the norm (well with every other company other than Nintendo). However, what makes this PAL demo extra special (other than the fact that I have a copy of one and you couldn't buy it) is the fact that this actually has reminents of the Original NTSC copy of Prime, as well as a few unique things of it's own.

For example, the PAL version is well known for having scan-dashing removed. However, it is STILL possible to do in this PAL demo. And it IS the PAL version as it has the total number of missiles collected tally on the main screen (something the US original version never had). You also start off with the Ice Beam in the demo.

Seeing as the game will ONLY run in 60Hz mode (and my capture card can't make movies with that Hz), here are a few screenshots taken directly from the demo. In essence, this means that there are techinally 4 DIFFERENT playable versions of Prime in existence!
