Controlling Dash Jumps
Discovered By: ????
Movie Credit: Kip
By Pressing UP or DOWN during a dash jump, it is possible to "bend" the jump. This is useful if you need to
keep up speed and distance, but your destination isn't a straight line away. This is an advanced trick as
it takes a while to get used to, but it can be applied to many instances where the ability to have precision
landing is required.
You can also kill the momentum in a dash jump by pressing L at any point. An example of where such precision is
required is in the Geothermal Core room without Boostball, where you need to dash sideways and kill the momentum
at the right place with L to allow you to get into the right position to jump directly at the morphball slot.
Check out the movie below showing you bending a dash jump.
