Combat Visor Dash Jumps

Discovered By: ????

By locking onto an enemie Samus has the ability to dash sideways if you press Left or Right + B at the same time while locked-on. If you release L straight after the dash starts, you will shoot off in that direction at super speed. The lighter you press B and the quicker you release L after tapping B, the faster you will go in the direction you pressed.

There's almost no height to be gained from a single dash jump, but if you use your 2nd jump (dashing once counts as one normal jump), then you can get some extra height AND travel some REALLY far distances! This is can be seen better when trying for Secret World 6 where the distance required to travel is massive and the second jump is essential to making the jump. And this is where such dash jumps come into their element. If you want to reach a destination that's far away very quickly, dashing off of a ledge can get you the results you need.

The biggest problem people have when trying to Dash Jump is that they press and hold B for far too long. All it requires is a very quick tap of the button to initiate the move and then a quick release of L right afterwards triggers of the burst of speed. Check out the movie below for another example of the Combat Dashjump in action.
