Beta Metroid Prime Screenshots

As with all games in existence, Metroid Prime has gone through MANY changes before it looked like what it does today. More so with Metroid Prime, as it was the series's first venture into 3D.

So over the next 4 pages you will find nearly 80 screenshots from the game before it was released. Some of the REALLY early screens show alot more of the 3rd Person View along with the many changes to the combat visor.

You may also notice interesting changes to the placement of items (in particular in Screenshot 11) along with different effects for different weapons. Try and see why all of the screens are considered "beta"...

Apologies for the inconsitency in the quality of these screens. The darker screens are from Nintendo, while I captured the "lighter" screens from a beta movie of MP.
