It becomes hard on the eyes. Maybe you could change some pages with all that text so their easy to read? Also, I saw you changed the banner. Now while it aint too bad, I liked the other one a lot, and its better IMO. --- |-|3|\|5|-|1|\| 4 60 60 |-)48Y!!!11 73|-| |-||_||\|7312 120x0125!!11 |)|3 /\/\371201|)5!!!111 From: CrimsonMatrix | Posted: 12/26/2003 8:26:07 PM | Message Detail Question: When did Metroid 2 look like Super Metroid? I know I'm nitpicking but someone has to find the bugs. From: redcmt | Posted: 12/26/2003 10:19:39 PM | Message Detail Alright, I just decided I hate trying to find secret worlds. Ive been everywhere and I came close but to no avail.....I went to Tallon Canyon, got on one of the vines, and tried to jump up but no, invisible ceiling. Went to root cave and at the top did same thing but of course...invisible ceiling again. Went over to the alcove, jumped on one of the vines and tried to jump out of the hole in the wall but another invisible wall stopped samus in mid air and nudging through doesnt work u_u. I decided to try Gathering Hall and got close by jumping to the ledge where the missile is, and then jumping to the flower on the wall (the wall that is closer to watery hall access) and from there to a ledge in the corner of the gathering hall access & watery hall access walls. Then Im pretty close to the top but since I suck at ghetto jumps (it took me forever just to get the missile in watery hall without gravity and same for the artifact in tower of light) I cant get over the top. ****!!!! Anyways, just thought Id throw this info out there for fun even though you guys all know about it. Anyone else wanna try gathering hall? I think if we get someone good at tbjm or ghetto jumping than sw11 might be attainable... I doubt it though. :shrugs:: --- Lgtcount - Banned with a karma of 353. And i think the new banner looks great!!! Do you use css? it would be REALLY handy for a website like yours :) --- "Its time to enter the solar system " "We will make our students the smartest of America" George 'dubya' Bush From: Andrew Mills | Posted: 12/27/2003 3:45:08 AM | Message Detail Thanks for the feedback (everyone). I'll address it all one at a time: CyberGlitch | Input for the new website look: Though the look is fitting, it does make it harder to read things, expecially with a lot of text. It becomes hard on the eyes. Maybe you could change some pages with all that text so their easy to read? Also, I saw you changed the banner. Now while it aint too bad, I liked the other one a lot, and its better IMO. Harder to read? When was the last time you looked? The font size has been increased back to the original size again (-1) from the smaller version I tried (-2). Shouldn't be hard to read anymore... I have to disagree with you on the banner tho. While the other one was simple and effective, this one just has more "oomph" behind it and matches the new colour scheme FAR better. CrimsonMatrix | Question: When did Metroid 2 look like Super Metroid? I know I'm nitpicking but someone has to find the bugs. Ah yes. I noticed that too this morning. I must have uploaded the old index file for metroid 2 where I used SM content as the base to save some re-typing... =/ That'll be fixed very shortly (after this post in fact). But thanks for noticing... *runs* Destroyer F | About the website: can you make the font-size a little bigger? And i think the new banner looks great!!! Do you use css? it would be REALLY handy for a website like yours :) No I don't use CSS. Will have to look into it I suppose... I use SSI (Server Side Includes) to make the updating of banner, navigation and right hand side easier. But I'll start looking at CSS to make it even easier... Oh, I've been trying to write up that wallcrawling guide, but chozo ruins SW9 is giving me annoyance... >=( Still, expect quite a few new Sequence Breaking updates on my site within the next 12 hours. Confirmed!?!?! I recieved an e-mail today from a Metroid Prime player who was able to leave the morphball tunnel of Life Grove and explore it's outsides, SW style. But not only did he mention it, he included 2 decent screen captures of it. One DEFANITELY shows Samus outside the map (indicated by the green location arrow) for life grove. The tactic involved laying a Power Bomb in the tunnel before the morphball door opens and then I believe you push forwards, resulting in you exiting lifegrove itself. Anyone wanna confirm this for me (as I'm at work right now for another 6 hours...) Andrew "MP SW Monkey" Mills --- www.metroid-prime.co.uk The Greatest Metroid Site: Updated on: 30th December 2003 From: wimker | Posted: 12/30/2003 8:56:23 AM | Message Detail Hello, my name is wimker and I am the MP player in question above who submitted evidence of an 11th secret world. I have just repeated the trick and have entered the world for a second consecutive time. I am eagerly awaiting confirmation from other players that they can, indeed, repeat this on their own. Confirming what was said above, in-between the Life Grove Tunnel and the Life Grove room itself there is a small morph ball tunnel preceaded by a small hatch. When I rolled up to the hatch I placed a power bomb while holding toward the hatch. When the bomb goes off, I continued to hold toward the hatch and proceeded to roll forward after the explosion. Afterwards when coming out of morph ball mode, the screen remained white as if the power bomb was still going off and I found my self able to walk outside the confines of the Life Grove Room. As I said, I have been able to do this twice now in 2 tries. Happy Hunting! - wimker
